Entrance to the path
This is the view across from the pullover, where you access the cog trail. To get to the pullover, drive (or take the Island Explorer) towards Jordan Pond. When you pass the turn that takes you up Cadillac, look for the second pullover on your right.

At that same pullover, if you look down the side of the banking...same side of the road as the pull over, there is a worn path near the half way point of the pull over, it Leeds down to a gully and in different areas along that gully are railroad spikes. The gully Leeds down to a brook, with the last spike showing up just before the brook, that is the lower section of the route the train took.

I've hiked this many times, it's one of my favorite trails.

We made it, thanks to you! But I'm not convinced that I followed the original railway as we got close to the summit. The woods got really thick. Still, it was a great experience.
